AUTOUR DE BABEL (Around Babel)
Autour de Babel (Around Babel) gives variations about the founding myth of the Tower of Babel.
This myth could be seen as a symbol of utopia which has been destroyed by God as a higher authority to preserve its power. But the end of Babel also embodies the greatest chance of Humanity: the birth of multiculturalism.
On stage, 5 performers (actors, dancer, puppeteer, musicians) originated from different cultures, give a contemporary reading of this myth in the style of a multilingual and celestial cabaret.
